PCB Bank

Staunton, VA |  3,343 SF  | General Contractor: Skyline Roofing, Inc.

We embarked on a transformative journey to fortify the bank's structure with a roofing solution that exemplifies durability and craftsmanship. The project commenced with meticulous preparation, including the removal of stone ballast and the careful tear off of existing EPDM membranes and insulation layers.

The insulation phase showcased our dedication to optimal thermal performance. We installed layers of polyiso insulation and an 80PSI HD coverboard over the structurally sloped wood deck, enhancing the main building.  Attention to detail continued in the drive-thru area, where tapered crickets, X panels, and wood blocking were meticulously integrated to improve drainage and insulation consistency. The project culminated in the installation of a 60 mil white TPO membrane, meticulously adhered with flashings, details, and terminations adhering to the manufacturer's specifications.

Completing the aesthetic and functional aspects, we added finishing touches such as a Kynar-finished, shop-fabricated coping cap on parapet walls, and gravel stop edge metal around the open perimeter. Additionally, six new retrofit drains with inserts were seamlessly integrated. Pendleton Community Bank now stands fortified against the elements, showcasing a roofing system that harmonizes resilience and visual appeal.
